Welcome to Shahnaz Connect. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Shahnaz Connect (“we”, “us”, or “our”) regarding your access to and use of our website, platform, and services.

By registering for an account, browsing jobs, posting projects, submitting proposals, or otherwise using Shahnaz Connect, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are using Shahnaz Connect on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

To access most features of Shahnaz Connect, you must register for an account and select a role as either a Client or a Freelancer.

• Accurate information: you agree to provide truthful, complete, and up-to-date information during registration and in your profile.
• Account security: you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• One person per account: accounts may not be shared, sold, or transferred without our prior written consent.
• Notification: you agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information, impersonate others, or violate these Terms.

Clients use Shahnaz Connect to find, hire, and collaborate with freelancers. As a Client, you agree to:

• Provide clear, accurate, and lawful job descriptions, requirements, and budgets.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with freelancers.
• Review proposals fairly and respond to applicants in a timely manner.
• Honor agreed-upon payment terms and milestones for work performed.
• Not request free work, speculative work, or work that violates any law or third-party right.

Clients are solely responsible for the content of their job postings and for any contracts or agreements entered into with freelancers.

Freelancers use Shahnaz Connect to find work, submit proposals, and deliver services to clients. As a Freelancer, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your skills, experience, rates, and availability.
• Submit proposals only for jobs you are genuinely qualified and able to perform.
• Communicate professionally and meet agreed-upon deadlines and deliverables.
• Deliver original work that does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Maintain confidentiality of any client information or materials shared with you.

Freelancers are independent contractors, not employees of Shahnaz Connect or the clients they serve.

Shahnaz Connect provides tools to help clients and freelancers agree on project terms. Any payment arrangements, invoices, refunds, or disputes are primarily between the client and freelancer unless otherwise facilitated by the platform.

• Budgets and rates: job budgets and freelancer rates are displayed for reference and do not constitute a binding contract until both parties agree.
• Payment responsibility: clients are responsible for paying freelancers for completed work in accordance with the agreed terms.
• Disputes: we encourage users to resolve payment disputes directly. We may assist in good faith but are not a party to contracts between users.
• Platform fees: any fees charged by Shahnaz Connect for premium features or payment processing will be disclosed before you incur them.

You may not use Shahnaz Connect for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, fraudulent, or defamatory content.
• Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or abuse other users.
• Use the platform to distribute spam, malware, or malicious links.
• Circumvent our platform to avoid fees or communicate outside the platform for the purpose of evading our policies.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
• Engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users’ accounts.

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, termination, and referral to appropriate authorities.

Shahnaz Connect and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the platform, including trademarks, logos, software, and content provided by us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.

Content you post, including job descriptions, proposals, messages, and portfolio materials, remains your property. By posting it on Shahnaz Connect, you grant us a limited license to display and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the platform.

Work product transferred between clients and freelancers is governed by the agreement between those parties. We recommend clearly defining ownership and licensing terms before work begins.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account and access to the platform at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or posed a risk to other users or the platform.

Upon suspension or termination, you remain responsible for any outstanding obligations, including payments for work completed. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Shahnaz Connect provides a marketplace for connecting clients and freelancers. We do not guarantee the quality, legality, or timeliness of any work performed by freelancers, nor do we guarantee that clients will pay for completed work.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shahnaz Connect and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of Shahnaz Connect shall not exceed the amount you paid to us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and notify users where appropriate.

Continued use of Shahnaz Connect after changes become effective means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the platform.
